Parenting 101

I heard Nintendo is developing an educational video game series for new parents that can be played on the Wii. However lame it might be, it’s got to beat the class we attended Saturday—Baby Care for New Parents. After selecting our baby (manufactured in Shanghai circa 1970) we preceded to simulation stations where we fed, burped, and changed its diaper. Bec was a natural although the simulation lacked key biomatter. I’ll reserve further compliments until skills are demonstrated in the combat zone.

You'll pick up some of it through the classes, like Parenting 101. I don't see enough terror that you'll drop her. Think of it as "Red River Shootout, Texas on the Oklahoma 1". Terror actually turns out to be counter-productive. I still cringe at memories of almost stepping on Stacy by the side of the bed, a few days before Bec was born.

It's all about "ball protection." No fumbling aloud.
