Human Race Austin

Despite the heat and hills, Austin turned out for the Nike Human Race. It was my first 10k. It was Zoey’s first too. Bec ran it—RAN IT—in 1 hour 22 minutes. While this was a bit slower than her 9-minute-mile marathon pace, I bet out of the 800,000 word-wide participants, no six-month prego did it faster. She’s my hero.
